A little about Sudbury Fields wedding venue (101 Te Hapua Road, Peka Peka.)

Only 50 minutes north of Wellington is the unique venue, Sudbury Fields, that overlooks the valley. The venue boasts spectacular scenery, exquisite cuisine, and stylish accomodation with a touch of country (horses can even be included in photos).

Three spaces to choose from to hold your ceremony. Outside under the pergola with breathtaking views and dramatic coastline as your backdrop. Or in case of any wet weather, there’s the Garden Bar with an open fire or even the rustic Hay Barn. None of which can you go wrong with.

Dinner takes place in the rustic stables. Sudbury Fields partners with Capitol Catering that uses only the best ingredients. Choose from either a banquet or plated style, which includes canapes, entree, main and dessert. Or a buffet style, which has canapes, mains, vegetable dishes, salad, and dessert. Menu items include dishes like fresh market fish or lemon and garlic marinated chicken. You’ll have the option to bring your own beverages and best of all, no corkage or bar staff fee.

A 22-hour hire includes everything you need to make your day special. From a lighting and sound system and parking space for 50 cars to a full clean up of the venue and vintage ceremony chairs from Paris are available. You can also hire Cottage 103. It’s chic, romantic and a fantastic place for getting ready and spending the night on your wedding day.
