Jacob & Katie’s Old st Paul’s wedding. Wellington 6th July 2013.
Once again we were fortunate to be able to take some wedding pictures at the beautiful Old St Paul’s church. We started the fresh winter’s afternoon meeting up with Jacob at the church. Everyone was patiently waiting for the bride to arrive, Jacob standing at the front with grooms man, nervously looking at the back door.
And then the moment arrived. A beautiful Katie walked down the aisle with her dad. This is always one of my favourite moments in any wedding – the grooms face when he sees he’s bride walking up the aisle!
After the ceremony we braved the Wellington winter weather and headed to the Botanical gardens. Today we decided to try something a bit different, and the result was just magical! Katie looked like a princess, and we got some amazing pictures of her. Who would have thought a bus shelter can be such an awesome spot for wedding pictures!
Katie and Jacob really wanted some pictures at Te Papa – so we headed off to the waterfront. Perfect timing as the sun was getting a bit low – and we could go up to the viewing deck on level 6 at Te Papa to catch the last bit of sun before it popped behind the hills.
One of our favourite pictures of the day was taken at the Marae on level 4. A very special picture for a very special couple to remember their wedding day. We finished the day at the Mac’s Brewery where Katie and Jacob were meeting up with family and friends to celebrate.
