Paul has been taking professional photographs since 1985 and is a member of the Royal Photographic Society, awarded licentiateship for the beauty and quality of his portrait and wedding photography.

Paul Michaels photography offers a unique blend of styles in both wedding and portrait photography. Paul works primarily in an unobtrusive Photojournalistic style while the major events are taking place, but when there is a break in the action, he works with the bride and groom to create environmental portraits that are often described as bold, dramatic, romantic and very creative. Of course Paul will also shoot your family group photos but this is done in a painless 15 to 20 minute session that captures your family and friends in a very relaxed manner that shows the way they truly are.

Paul travels regularly for wedding destinations around Wellington and Manawatu, so no matter where your wedding happens to be taking place, Paul will be happy to work with you to create a set of images that captures all the beauty and emotion that you always dreamed would take place on your own wedding day.
